2012 came and went.  Surprise.  I tried calling John Cusack for a ride, but he’s not listed.

I wrote a Haiku.  I don’t usually write them, but one came to me so here it is.

The Mayans were wrong 
Or just misinterpreted
The world is still here

I stopped making New Year’s resolutions years ago.  The way I see it, if you make a New’s Years resolution, like to lose weight or something, and you don’t stick to it then what are you gonna do?  Wait another year before you try again?  My advice is to just make changes in your life when they are necessary.  Don’t wait for some arbitrary date to roll around.

That being said, I am going to make an effort to write more.  I’m an aspiring writer.  I write mostly short stories, but I have a novel I’m working on and I’d like to see it finished this year.  But if circumstances cause me to take a month or two off, so be it.

I won’t quit.
