definition

1 : a very high, large wave in the ocean that is usually caused by an earthquake under the sea and that can cause great destruction when it reaches land, and is particularly dangerous due to the tens of thousands of undead creatures washed ashore

example

The walking dead, which after years of terror had finally been sequestered to a remote island in the Pacific Ocean, were whisked away from their tropical prison and deposited along the shore of California by the recent tsuzombi.
